Overview

Understand how mods are shaping your game.

Analytics in CurseForge for Studios gives you the insights to measure mod ecosystem impact on your game, compare the behavior of vanilla and modded players, track ecosystem health over time, and make informed decisions about content, discovery, and monetization.

Two Audiences

Analytics data in CurseForge for Studios serves two distinct audiences:

Game Studios

Game studios can monitor their modding community's health and performance. This includes tracking the total volume of mods and active creators, analyzing player interaction patterns, and identifying content that encourages adoption. Furthermore, studios can observe financial trends for premium mods and the efficiency of cloud cooking processes. These high-level analytics are strictly for studio use and are not shared with mod authors.

Mod Authors

Mod authors get insight into their own content: how their mods are being downloaded and engaged with, where players drop off in the discovery funnel, and how their premium mods are selling. Author analytics are accessible in the CurseForge for Authors portal and are scoped to each author's own mods. Studios benefit from authors having this data because creators who understand their performance produce more consistent, higher quality content.
